MABS, the Money Advice and Budgeting Service is a free, confidential, independent, non-judgmental and non-profit-making service for people in debt or at risk of debt. The trained staff members that are employed at MABS centers endeavor to facilitate low-income families to develop the knowledge and skills they need to avoid getting into debt. They help to identify and access sources of credit tailored to the needs of the target group. They address changes at policy level where implementation will affect poverty at local level.

Eversheds Present the School Sports Day for Barretstown
Barretstown launched its annual Big Picnic on Thursday, with classic schools sports day fun. Hosted this year by Eversheds, the School Sports Day featured an egg and spoon race, a three-legged race and sack racing, as well as more unusual events, such as space-hopping and cup stacking!

The Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute is offering a day of free talks in the Clyde Court Hotel in Ballsbridge on Monday, as they launch Nourish Ireland Week. These talks will cover a wide variety of topics around nutrition, such as the role of diet in cancer prevention and recurrence, and allergies and intolerances.
