Dublin Dock Workers Preservation Society is holding a Service of Remembrance for all deceased Dublin Dockworkers on Saturday 20th September in Ringsend, honouring dock workers through music, memories, prayers, poetry and reflection. People are invited to congregate at Ringsend College at 7.45pm and walk in a candlelit procession led by a lone piper to St Patrick’s Church for an ecumenical service. There will be music from 8 to 8.15pm, before the service begins, which last year attracted 600 people. Later there will be a photographic exhibition.

The service is sponsored by Dublin Port Company, SIPTU and Dublin City Council.
