Black Tie Bingo!

Black Tie Bingo Poster

NewsFour’s Black Tie Bingo on 15th November aims to be a night of decadent fun, prizes and dancing.

Formal attire is not essential but it would be great to see people going all out and dressing up for the occasion.

You don’t have to be a serious bingo player to attend – just someone who is serious about having fun! Our host Shirley Temple Bar will teach all who attend how to play bingo, so if you’ve never played before, fear not! You will be an expert by the end of the night. There will be great cash prizes for each bingo game and we will have some excellent raffle prizes on the night too.

The support from our local community has been amazing so far, with tickets selling at a steady rate. Many local businesses and groups are making this their Christmas party night out. Local hair salons D4 Studio and Lynsay’s in Ringsend, Zeba and Jaz in Sandymount are offering 20% off blow-drys or up styles on the day to our black tie bingo ticket holders, while other local businesses have donated some seriously good raffle prizes. But we also need your help to ensure that the night is a success.

NewsFour is your community newspaper and is here to help promote the businesses and community groups of your area. Our little newspaper is in its 29th year serving the community and even in the face of funding cuts to the community sector we will strive to continue to publish our six issues per year. Please help us promote our benefit night by spreading the word and sharing this article on Facebook and Twitter.

Tickets cost €30 and are available to buy in the NewsFour office. Attendees will be greeted on arrival with a complimentary glass of Prosecco, a bingo book and a raffle ticket. The Clanna Gael will be unrecognisable as it will be dressed for the occasion! Shirley Temple Bar will kick off the night at 8pm sharp and you can enjoy a buffet of luscious canapes during the interval. Local band Mojo will follow with a playlist that guarantees to get bums off seats and onto the dance floor. There will also be a full bar available throughout the night.

Your ongoing support is greatly appreciated and we hope to see you there on the night!
