Tesco Sandymount celebrated its fourth donation of €1,000 between three local good causes as part of the ‘Tesco Community Fund’ initiative. Voted for by customers, the three good causes to receive their share of the fund were Railway Union Hockey Club, Ringsend Crèche and Dazzeletts Youth Club.
Over 3,500 local good causes in Ireland will receive a donation through the Tesco Community Fund over the next year, which will see €1million shared annually among local charities and community organisations.

Pictured above are representatives from Stella Maris Rowing Club and Peel Ports. Stella Maris would like to extend their thanks to Peel Ports for their kind sponsorship of a container which facilitates storage of their boats. Due to the extra storage that this new container provides, the club’s junior members now have additional space and can train safely in the club gym.
Donald Brindley has since been in touch to identify 9 and 11 as the Maguire brothers (perhaps you can give us their Christian names?) and 12 as Donald Keoghan. Number 10 is still to be identified, so if you can name the young man please get in touch. Thanks also to Charles Lysaght who has identified the priest with glasses as Father O’Flynn, the other priest as Canon Flanagan and the third adult as Kevin Quinn.
