The Pembroke Library on Anglesea Road will be hosting fun events for children this July.

At 11am on Wednesday the 13th author Emer Conlon will take part in Vroom-Town Storytime, an interactive storytelling session featuring characters from her Vroom-Town book series including Sparkle, Bullydozer and Screech. It is intended for children ages 3 to 7.

At the same time the following week, kids will get to enjoy The Magic of Music summer programme, which teaches them music through art, drama and music. They will get to learn how to play percussive instruments and engage in samba drumming, with some sports themes and action songs included. The programme is aimed at children from ages 3 to 8.

Admission to both events is free, though booking ahead of time is recommended. Further information can be found by calling 669 9575 or by emailing pembrokelibrary@dublincity.ie.
