If you go for a beachside stroll this weekend you might notice some extra activity on Sandymount Strand. An Taisce Clean Coasts programme and TagRugby.ie are co-hosting the D4 Strand Tag Blitz on Saturday 20th August 2016.

Apart from being great fun, the event is being held to raise awareness of the #2minutebeachclean initiative. #2minutebeachclean stations have been placed on over 100 of Ireland’s beautiful beaches to raise public awareness of marine litter on our coastline. They want all beach users to realise that they can make a positive impact in just 2 minutes.
