Maxol have teamed up with AWARE to raise funds for the latter with Mood Walks, one of which is being organised by Maxol Ringsend.
The walk takes place at 12 noon on Saturday 01st October and will see participants travelling from Maxol on Ringsend Road to Martello Tower in Sandymount and back, covering a distance of approximately 5 kilometres. The staff at Maxol Ringsend will be there to greet those taking part and provide them with complimentary water, tea, coffee and fruit.
A €5 donation is requested and the money raised for AWARE will be used to provide education and support for people both directly and indirectly affected by depression. It has been announced that the charity partnership between Maxol and AWARE will continue for the next few years.
Maxol’s Group Brand Development Manager Fergal Harrington spoke of the anticipation surrounding the partnership and the Mood Walks:
“Maxol is thrilled to support AWARE at the inaugural Maxol Mood Walks in the Republic of Ireland. We really encourage as many members of the community as possible to come out and enjoy some fresh air while getting to know your neighbours on these lovely scenic walking routes.
Maxol strives to position itself at the heart of Irish communities, and these Maxol Mood Walks are a true reflection of these values.”
Registration for this event can be done simply by popping into Maxol, Ringsend Road, Dublin 4. More information on AWARE can be found on its website.
