The 30th annual South Docks Festival kicked off this week down on Pearse Street and Grand Canal Docks.
The event, which is organised by St. Andrew’s Resource Centre and the Pearse Area Recreational Centre, runs until Friday 21st July.
Remaining events include the “Viking Splash Tour” and “The Teddy Bears’ Picnic” on Thursday, with the final day on Friday showcasing “The Fair in the Square” on Pearse Square.
The fair will be filled with activities and games for all ages, including huge slides, obstacle courses, ball pools, as well as a wellness and reiki area for parents to escape the child related madness.
The festival then concludes with the South Docks Festival Grand 30th Anniversary Parade.
