Starting this week at the Ringsend library and running until the Friday is the ‘ABC Early Numeracy programme’. Handouts providing tips on how parents can make learning fun for their kids are provided.

Science week is on at the Ringsend Library this week and runs until Saturday. Peruse through the many books the library have on offer and perhaps you may find a subject that  piques your interest .Many a time a good tech book that interests you and you understand can lay out a future for you that you may not have imagined. The books available at the library are suitable for both adults and children. So get your kids down and let their creative minds be fed nature’s laws and the ever evolving landscape that surrounds them.

New to the library is the Ringsend Library book club. The club started a few ago and already has its regular members but is always looking for more. The club meets on the first Wednesday of every month between 6:30 and 7:30pm at the library. If you wish to join please ring 01 6680063. The book to read for next month’s meeting is the ‘The Disappeared’ by author Kim Echlin.

Information and book displays on-going at the library include a ‘Healthy Ireland Programme’ for adults, the ‘Winter reads’ selection and ‘Year of the Irish Language’ book display which celebrates books written in our native language.
