Radio Snowflake returns on first Advent

By Kathrin Kobus

Ireland’s Original Christmas radio station is back for this year’s run from the 1-25th December.

Radio Snowflake started out back in 1982 in Dublin 4 as part of Dave Reddy’s community Radio stations.

During this season the station will be aiming to create awareness for Irish Guide dogs for the Blind. David Baker owner of Radio Snowflake said:  ‘Every year thousands of people tune in not only here in Ireland but all over the world. This year we look forward to welcoming many more. The station in previous years has supported Irish Kidney association, Samaritans and many more worthy causes and this year will be no different. Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind has so much support from so many and we just want people to hear first hand the exceptional work they do and how they really have changed people’s lives’.

The stations app is already available for a free download at I tunes and google play stores.

Radio snowflake will officially launch on the airwaves 1st December 6pm but for a sneaky listen experience go to www.radiosnowflake.ie
