Ringsend residents Owen and Matt Ennis have released their debut single, a cover of the Christmas classic “Walking in the Air”.
Like many artists before them, the brothers have put their own unique spin on the song immortalized by the beloved 1982 animated film The Snowman. The music video sees them exploring the beautiful nighttime sights of Grafton Street and Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre, which are illuminated by Christmas lights and decorations.
Matt and Owen shared the video with their fans, releasing a message on their Facebook page to reveal the inspiration behind it:
“For as long as we can remember, since we were kids every year on Christmas Eve we would walk up and down Grafton Street with our grandparents. It became a tradition that we will never break and this inspired our video for ‘Walking In The Air’.”
The song is available to download on all download on all digital retail stores including Spotify and iTunes.
