Ringsend’s own 1st Port Sea Scouts currently have almost 100 young people on a waiting list to join their busy club.
In order to get more youngsters involved, the club are looking for adult volunteers to help out with their efforts.
Full training will be provided with fun, friendship and adventure all guaranteed.
1st Port of Dublin Sea Scouts, which are based on Pigeon House Road in Ringsend, re-opened in 2014 and offers outdoor adventures to young people between the ages of 6 and 14. Each age group meets once a week and does one weekend activity a month, such as a hike, a camp or a water based activity.
