Would you like to help highlight homelessness?

Councilor Chris Andrews has organised a sleep out in front of the Dáil on Wednesday, February 4, to bring the continuing issue of people sleeping rough on the streets of Dublin to the attention of government.

“We need to make it clear that ending homelessness is not just about putting a roof over someones head on a temporary basis. It’s about more than that. It requires funding for addiction and mental health services. We want change.”

If you are interested in taking part, meet on Kildare Street outside the Dáil at 8pm. Be aware that nothing will be provided by the organisers, so pack your sleeping bag and wrap up warm! More information is available on the event’s Facebook page.
