The Ringsend Community Services Forum is encouraging anyone who can to provide items to be displayed in an exhibition as part of the 1916 / Community Week celebration.

The “Raytown Rising” will feature items such as photos, art, stories, souvenirs, memorabilia and newspaper clippings. Anyone in the community who wishes to include an item relevant to 1916 or Ringsend can contact the RCSF office by calling 0851393571 or give it in person before the launch.

The exhibition will be launched on Monday April 25 and will run until Sunday May 1, taking place in the Catholic Young Men’s Society Hall from 12pm to 4pm each day. The week will feature events that the whole family can enjoy, hosted by various groups and organisations from the community.

Further details of the Celebration will be made available shortly.
