The Dodder Action group are seeking new volunteers.
The river cleanup volunteer’s group are meeting this Thursday January 26th at 8.30 pm at the Clonskeagh House to discuss a range of issues regarding the river cleanup activities this year. The meeting is open to all who are interested.
Dodder Action spokesperson, Victoria White, informs NewsFour: “We have huge activity to discuss. A new partnership with Dublin City Council will see us running a Heritage Weekend. We have a big schools competition and exhibition on-going, our walk is planned and we are scheduling 10 monthly clean-ups around our one-off All River Clean, Dodder Action Day.”
White encourages all who have an interest to attend the meeting. “Our plans are big, all we need is your help to deliver for our river.” She also notes that people can put in pitches for a clean-up if you see a particularly bad area to tackle.
