A tasty lunch
We have all known for quite a while that some of the best nosh and vino are to be found in Dublin 4.
Well now it’s official with the arrival of the Irish Food and Wine Awards, as the organising committee recently announced a shortlist of contenders.
Representing Dublin 4 are “Forest Avenue” on Sussex Terrace in the Chef-Driven Menu category, “The Old Spot” in Sandymount for the Pub Food award, “The Press Cafe” at the National Print Museum for the Best Cafe prize, “Tavern at the Dylan Hotel” for the Hotel Restaurant of the year section and finally, “Forest and Marcy” on Leeson Street for the Wine Lovers award.
Winners were announced last night at the Clayton Hotel on Burlington Road and we will keep you updated if any of the above walked away with an edible golden statue.
